Every picture on this site is one of three things. An illustration we made. A photo we took in our own tanks. Or a photo by someone else that we use under a Creative Commons licence. That licence lets us use the photo if we follow its rules, and the rules always include naming the photographer. Every picture is listed below, with who made it, the licence and where it came from.
Illustrations we made
These pictures were made by us with an AI image model (OpenAI gpt-image-2), from our description of each kind of shrimp, and checked against the real thing. They are not photos. No copyright is claimed over them. When we have photos from our own tanks, those will replace the illustrations one by one, and the label on the card changes to "Our tank".
The pictures show the kind of shrimp we sell, not a grade. Grade means how solid and even the colour and pattern are. Real shrimp vary in grade, and we do not guarantee it. Where a picture is marked Illustration, we made it to show what that kind of shrimp looks like. It is not a photo of the shrimp in your box. Real shrimp vary in size, exact colour and pattern.
